Desert Storm tan uniform with pointed pockets/thicker design
This variant of the Iraqi tan uniform is made of a coarse fabric with pointed pockets. The buttons are very cheaply made. It is noticeably thicker in construction than other tan uniforms. For example, the pocket flaps are thicker. The label on the collar features the Jihm mark which designates it as Desert Storm Era. The later Ba'ath Party stamp, however, shows this uniform was also issued in OIF. It was likely new-old-stock which explains why it was reissued. Tan uniforms frequently have that stamp on them. This type of uniform was also seen worn by the early Iraqi Civil Defense Corps when they were initially formed.
