Iranian Army Desert Digital Camouflage Uniforms
Around the year 2009, the Iranian Army introduced a Desert digital camouflage uniform, likely mimicking the USMC MARPAT camouflage pattern. In period photographs, both the Iranian Army and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps wear this pattern, but it is more prominent with the latter. There are multiple different uniform styles that this camo comes in, and this section will cover them.
ACU Cut Desert Digital Camo Uniform
One example of the Desert Digital camouflage uniform is made in the US Advanced Combat Uniform style, with two slanted breast pockets, flip up collar, and shoulder pockets. Unlike the ACU however, the uniform above is of inferior quality and made of very very thin materials. Judging by the tags and online manufacturing websites, this uniform is likely made in China and exported to Iran.
