Iraqi Gulf War era DPm vest

Body armor, or any armor for that matter, aren't nessesarily attributed with the Iraqi military until recently, but there are some rare examples. This example is a DPM armor vest, made by Tetranike Armor Systems which was based in the UK. The armor is pre-1991 as it came from the UK. The vests were only distributed to the most elite units of the Iraqi Army, although no specific units are known. These vests have been observed to have many slight variations in design on the shoulder area, but are still easily recognizable.  Only around 5 of these vests are known to exist. Additionally, a few of these fell into the hands of insurgents post 2003.
