Egyptian Used Wz50
One of the few helmets the Egyptian military imported was the Polish Wz50 helmet. It is not exactly known the year they were first introduced into their army, but it predates the 1967 6 Day War with Israel, and they continued to be worn through the 1990's. This particular example is dated 1969 and sports a heavily used Egyptian reversible camouflage cover with the "rocks" pattern exposed, and the "sand" pattern underneath. While this helmet and cover was used for a very long time, the one shown above was likely a Desert Storm bringback by coalition forces working with Egyptian troops.
