Iraqi made 2 pocket officer/dress police uniforms
The Iraqi Federal and regular police units have a large variety of uniforms in use by their members. This section will focus on the Iraqi made uniforms with 2 pockets, which are primarily for officer's and/or for dress wear. Although made for officers, most were indeed worn in the field. These were worn during the War On ISIS from around 2010 to present day.

This rare Iraqi Federal Police camo uniform is worn by both officers and enlisted personnel. Although it is a dress style uniform, it has been observed to be commonly worn in combat. The one above has the newer style Federal Police patches. The camouflage pattern is also unique as it looks to be made from ripstop, but it actually imitates its look. This style was first seen during the War on ISIS.

This particular uniform is patched to the Iraqi Federal Police. The embroidered chest patches show that the uniform is definitely a newer used piece. The front pockets have the flaps slanted and are secured shut by velcro and the collar is stiff. The camo color is a lighter blue. This uniform was sourced directly from Iraq in 2018, placing its use during the War on ISIS time frame.

This example is in the exact same cut as the uniform directly above it, yet sports a regular police patch on the shoulder and matching Lieutenant Colonel's shoulder board ranks. It is made of a coarser material however and the pattern has an almost white background.

An Iraqi Police custom tailored police officer's uniform with direct embroidery and in Turkish digital camouflage. The pocket flaps are slanted to the middle. The wild arrays of police camouflage can be attributed to the leniency given to the police on their uniforms recently. Sourced from Iraq in 2022.

This particular dark brown camouflage uniform variant was most notably seen during the 2019-2020 Iraqi protests being worn by specific police forces engaging protestors, although the exact unit is unknown. It is a very rare uniform variant and isn't worn as often anymore.
Unique Piece
Although this has no police related patches or embroidery, this is undoubtably police used based on the ridiculous camo choice and the style of the uniform. This camouflage is actually Northern Alliance lizard pattern first introduced in Afghanistan in the 1990s, and whoever made the choice to use it created a beautiful uniform. Sourced in 2022. **This exact uniform was seen in a period photo worn by a Kurdish soldier. Working on further research**

Another Iraqi Federal Police uniform with the newer style Federal Police patches. The embroidered breast patches show it is definitely a newer used piece. The camo is of a dark blue, almost grey shade and the pockets have the normal flaps that are closed by a button. The camo pattern has a flag incorporated in it, imitating the early US made Iraqi police uniforms.

Here's one heavily used uniform that was definitely worn in the field. It is a Federal Police worn digital camouflage uniform with 2 pleated front pockets on the uniform. The camo pattern also has a flag incorporated in it, imitating the early US made Iraqi police uniforms. The jacket is faded, especially on the top and the sleeves. Evidence of a plate carrier worn over the uniform protected the lower half of the uniform jacket from the sun. The pants have field repairs on all the pockets which strengthened the stitching, and the buttons on the jacket have been re sewn multiple times.
