Iraqi Desert Tiger Stripe Camouflage
The Iraqi's began to use a peculiar camouflage pattern dubbed "Desert Tiger Stripe" which was imported to Iraq from China, hence the yellow Chinese import tags. This camo is an unofficial pattern used by Iraqi forces. A regular army soldier can choose to buy the uniform and wear it, but they were really designated for Iraqi special forces/commando units and U.S. Special Forces and advisors working with them. It hasn't been determined when the Iraqis started wearing this camouflage yet, but it was probably after 2009.
The tiger stripe uniform is made of a ripstop or cotton material and is tailored to the style of a ACU uniform with the addition of shoulder epaulets. The yellow tags seen on this uniform designates it as a Chinese made export.
