Iranian Army Woodland Camouflage Uniforms
While copies of the US woodland camouflage uniform were used during the Iran Iraq War, it became the official pattern of the Iranian Army and IRGC sometime in the 2000's until being replaced by a unique desert DPM style uniform recently. Even so, woodland camouflage is still being used today in Iran. This section will show examples of such uniforms
This example of a woodland camouflage uniform is relatively close to the US version in terms of the colors, but it is noticeably brighter. Additionally, it is made of Ripstop and sports a tag that could suggest it is an Iranian produced piece, but that has not been confirmed.
The majority of Iranian uniforms have a pocket closure flap style that is pointed down at one side and bright dark green buttons, both of which are exhibited by this uniform.

Brown dominant
This set is a great example of the wide variety of different fabrics used. The woodland camo pattern here is a brown dominant version that was purposely done since it sports matching brown buttons instead of the usual green ones. The tags are present but only have the size, and the pockets flaps are pointed per usual. We are unsure if this color was made for a specific unit.
