Reflecting on the use of DPM camo patterns during the Saddam period, Iraqi soldiers continued to wear limited amounts of DPM camo patterns during the War on ISIS. This section will go over those examples.

The uniform above is one of the yellow tagged Chinese imported uniforms commonly seen in use by Iraqi soldiers. However, this desert DPM camo pattern was not commonly seen worn and was more reserved as a private purchase piece. They did however make their way into combat during the War on ISIS period.

This DPM variant is in more of a darker brown shade, due to the unique amount of customization Iraqi officer's are allowed for their uniforms. The patch is for the Intelligence Agency and The Federal Investigation, essentially investigators for the Federal Police. The uniform sports direct embroidery above the pockets, double button, pleated pockets and a fashionable collar design seen on a lot of uniforms from the War on ISIS period.

Iraqi officer's tailored uniform in desert DPM camouflage sourced from Iraq in 2022. However, it was likely used much before that since evidence suggests this pattern had been used early in the War on ISIS. The style is essentially the same as most Iraqi Police tailored uniforms, but it was used by the army.
