Afghan Helmet types
After the Russo-Afghan War and the treaty that followed, the majority of gear used by the Afghanis were Russian in origin. That was mostly the case for the helmets they used. Afghan used helmets are harder to come by, firstly because less coalition soldiers serve or served in Afghanistan than Iraq, and because antiques are hard to bring back.
