The Kurdish Peshmerga, YPG, and YPJ have been seen wearing a Chinese copy of the U.S. MARPAT camouflage during battles in Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. They saw heavy use in the initial fights against ISIS, but recently the Peshmerga are mainly wearing woodland camouflage, while the YPG continue to wear this uniform among others. These uniforms are imported from China and have gotten into the hands of other groups as well, such as the PMU.
