Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis

Popular Mobilization Forces t-shirts depicting Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis sourced from Iraq in December 2021. al-Muhandis was involved with Iraq and Iran since the 1970s and later became the Deputy Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Forces (2014-2020)  and Secretary General of Kata'ib Hezbollah (2003-2020). He had huge ties to Iran and was a prominent and well known leader of both groups. He was killed in the same airstrike as General Qasem Soleimani in 2020
